Cyclocross Update

Since Patriot Cross, we’ve been sampling the HICX series and the Chicago series:

Mongo Cross is a new race for the HICX series, so Aaron and  I went to Perkin to check it out. The day turned very cold and wet, but it was great  training for technical riding: Aaron Higley finished 3rd in the 1/2s despite mechanicals, and Melinda took 1st in the women’s open.  It was almost a wash, but one additional racer showed up 10 minutes before race time.
